All products are decorated with unique Belle Design Studio surface pattern designs, made in the UK, mostly handmade right here at Belle Design Studio HQ or locally.
Sustainability is important, using fabric off cuts to make smaller items, using local businesses as much as possible to reduce carbon emissions, sourcing companies who look after their staff and their impact on the world.

Belle Design Studio is a freelance design studio celebrating a love of playful prints & illustrations. Unique patterns and vibrant use of colour with an Intricate, bold and striking style inspired by nature and stories.
I am passionate about Interpreting nature through illustrations and mad about colour! I have a multi media approach to each project and my techniques ranges from hand-drawn, paint, inks, photography and digital to create motifs and repeat patterns. All patterns & illustrations are edited and finalised using the Adobe Creative Suite.

My process for any design project is the same Initially get out of the studio! Find out my clients needs, get to know you, your project and your business. An inspirational trip out with my camera or sketch book. Then it’s back to the studio for research, mood boards and ideas. Thats when the sketching & spider diagrams start to develop some ideas into hand rendered or digital text and/or motifs and finally take the finished sketches to the scanner or wacom tablet and digitally process them for clients approvals. Sometimes Design projects are better suited to being created digitally but the ideas always start on paper and sketching and I always provide finished files that are ready to be used online, on products or in print.
Print & Online Technical Designer My technical design journey started with Adobe Photoshop at art college in 2000!! I use the Adobe Creative Suite most days and primarily I am a visual designer but have experience and knowledge of Wordpress, Squarespace, CSS, XHTML & optimising artwork for both online and print.
